So its sat. and Justin and I slept till 11 wow!!! can you tell we were tired.... we got up did breakfast and are now sitting in our chairs playing with our electronics... lol yes we know we are pathetic!! we need to get up and clean our house. thinking I want our nieces and nephew to come over and stay with us tonight!! speaking of them let me tell you they were the reason I knew I loved Justin.
The first time I met Justins family was super bowl sunday in 2011. I was late getting there because I had to finish a project for nursing school. Also, I was very nervous I liked Justin so much I wanted his family to like and approve of me. So yes I took a while getting ready. lol I drove up from my home "in town" to the "middle of nowhere". Justin picked me up from his house and we went over to his brothers house. His family was all there.... Gmaw (Lillie), Dad (Pete), Mom (Cindy), Brother (Nick), sister in law (Kelli) and two nieces Maci and Mauri, and nephew Rhett. Well I couldn't even tell you who was playing that sunday bc I was playing with the kiddos so much. We just seemed to click. They actually were saying are you my aunt Christi lol It was funny and it broke the ice so to speak. I visited with his family and it was awesome because they were so laid back and made me feel comfortable. Then seeing Justin how he was with kids playing and how much they loved their uncle Jelly Bean was so sweet I knew that moment I was in trouble. They loved him so much and he was so patient and loving with them. I was like omg this could be the man of my children. I knew that moment that I loved everything about him. Seeing him with his family was just wonderful. You learn a lot about a person when they are around their family. That is their territory and their comfort zone and so you really see who they are with the people they are most comfortable around.
Guess children are smarted sometimes than we give them credit for.... they kept saying aunt Christi aunt Christi and guess what they were right. I became Aunt Christi :)
